Do you need to take your dog to the groomers, vet, family member or friend?
Are you relocating or going on holiday and don’t know how to bring your loyal companion with you?
Be aware that if you travel by train:
You may only travel with your pet if their weight does not exceed 10 kg*.
If you travel by plane:
You may travel with your pet in the cabin, so long as the weight does not exceed 8 kg. If the total weight of both your pet and their carrier exceeds this weight, they will be made to go in the hold.
Your dog will not be permitted to travel by plane if:
- It belongs to one of the breeds referred to as brachycephalic (such as French and English bulldogs, boxer, pugs, pit bull, etc.) and their total weight exceeds 8kg – they won’t be allowed in the hold.*
- If the pup is less than 10 weeks old.*
If you want to avoid having your pet travel in the hold of the plane, or you are afraid that your pet could be bumped around during the journey, suffer from the cold or even get lost among the luggage (as has happened on more than one occasion) then…
I’m here to help you!
(We won’t accept pets whose weight or size means they are unable to travel safely by car.)
*Please ask the air/rail company about these conditions
